I really should have done this a long time ago but from now on I’m tagging posts that feature fetish or nudity and so forth “NSFW.”

I really don’t want my blog to end up causing anyone awkward interactions in the real world.

k soI dont normally post more risque pictures to my main blogand I defs dont normally make posts like the one I’m planning on herebut
wowshe’s about my size???? taller obviously, and she’s wearing a corset and she’s jsutGORGEOUSand I dont feel like crap about my body when I look at her???not to say that just anything can set me off into feeling like crap but she’s big and she’s literally perfect?? the shape the corset gives her is just, kinda flawless?? even though she could have easily opted for a longline of some kind, she went for a basic length (showing that she’s at LEAST like 5’7”, making me more than a little jealous but)
idknormally involving things like fatshion, larger body acceptance, etc, they showcase either people with more desirable curves (very large hips and/or breasts), smaller fats or much much larger fatsand while I don’t wish anyone ill there is very very LITTLE representation of my body type, in those communities let ALONE those for body modifications, and that just kind of makes me feel veryalmost weird I guess????
and then BAM out of the woodwork on one of my favourite corseting blog a few months?? ago, this lady with a fab corset and that nosering and the sheer CONFIDENCE she oozes and yes her hair too andinstance confidence boosterit’s really no wonder why typing “F” in my url bar anymore leads DIRECTLY to fattiesincorsets wow

The comment above really made my day. I am so touched to be reading this.
And, ugh, I’m in total agreement about how size-positive spaces tend to have images of the more “acceptable” fat bodies. We’re all in this together and we should all be in this together and not have one body type held higher over the rest of the group. I think we face too much of that already outside of our size positive spaces.

I would like to point out that leatherotics has sizes up to 32 inches, but for an additional ~$40 US, they will make any corset to fit your measurements, long or tall. Being that on average, their corsets cost around $75 US, it's not a terrible deal, and their reviews off site are very nice.

Most reputable corset sellers are usually totally open to questions about what they're made of/what kind of body shape a certain corset might be best for. As someone who makes corsets myself, I love to talk to potential customers about what they want vs what I think I can get them. I'd email and ask plenty of questions.
For the person asking about sizes, always try and get one 2 - 4 inches below your own waist size, but take into account breast and hip size and the shape of the corset. I'm a 18 - 22 US and I wear a 38 - 40 in corsets but I have a fairly wide waist. Most places online should pretty good about returning and replacing if you get the wrong size.
I've been shopping around and doing my research to find a suitable corset for my size (which is about a 20-22 US). It won't be my first, though I haven't worn one since I was about a size 18 and very into waist training. While I've found quite a few resources, they all tend to be geared towards smaller people. Is there any sort of advice, from you, your followers or some page on the internet I might have missed? Thank you.

Hmmmm, any suggestions followers? Message me and I’ll publish them.

To the male who want to wear corsets : historically men have worn corsets. They are often called girdles or gentleman's corsets instead and usually worn as an undergarnment. Of course if you have the figure for it you could wear a ladies overbust corset but in a pinch a ladies underbust/cincher corset will work well and look great. I had my gentleman's corset custom made as very few places stock men's corsets. Also remember to go steel boned - plastic bends. Good luck finding the corset for you.

What he said! :)

For the anon who wants to wear corsets: There plenty of us out there (men and women alike) who love the look of a man in a corset. <3
