Holy crapoli I can’t believe I’m submitting this. I’ve struggled for so long with body confidence issues, and finally gained to courage to post something like this.
I’m an AU 18/20, not particularly proud, but accepting of it.

The feather clip is made from rhinestones and hotfix crystals on a felt back.
The corset is a black shot red taffeta with a black lace front panel. It’s boned wtih half inch spiral steel in all channels except center front and center back which is done with half inch flat steel.
My First Corset!
The first time i’ve ever really gotten dressed up to take pictures in it! i think it went rather well! it’s a little hard to see the actual corset… it’s a dark green burlesque overbust, there are some more like it on my Blogger blog Grace of the Gods!
‘Back Fat’
‘Back Fat’ is caused by an ill-fitting corset. If you have an overhang, it is simply that the corset does not have enough room across your back. If you have purchased an off-the-peg corset then this style/ brand is not for you, as it has inadequate width across your back.
It can also be caused by the corset being too long or short through the torso (short or long-waisted people commonly have this problem).
I know it seems expensive, but this is why custom corsets are so often recommended - a decent corsetmaker will take the length and width of your back into account when making your corset, and you will have minimal back fat.

Very proud of that corset/skirt combo - I made the whole stinkin’ thing, and it wasn’t too easy to figure out. (It has tails, like a tuxedo jacket, in the back!)
